The world of
Sleepies is weird and wild indeed. Nearly every track on here is a sonic onslaught that weaves in and out of hard core breaks, screeching guitar lines, tongue-in-cheek vocals and bleached-out noise. On the last track the lead singer hilariously proclaims, "I TAKE THIS ALL VERY SERIOUSLY!" His tone is facetious, but Sleepies clearly do. And I, for one, am glad for it. Listen to this LP (on
